Wet qualifying

Hi all!

Shame about Lucas today...during the practice it seemed almost everything goes well, but unfortunately not, and this continued on the Qualifying session too.
Lucas couldn't go out at the start of the session, there was a fuel system problem and when he went out there were only a few minutes from the session and the track was very wet...so he wasn't able to set a good lap time, so he will start from the 24th place.
I added photos from today to the gallery! Check them out!
Lucas said: “Once more some problems affected us today and we had to rebuild parts of the car between Free Practice and Qualifying. It was touch and go whether we would even get the car out at all for Qualy, but the mechanics did an incredible job and because of that we were able to do at least a couple of laps to make sure the car was working well. While it has been a disappointing day for me personally, it has been a good day for the team so we all have to be pleased for that. We look forward to the race tomorrow and hope that brings better things, including achieving our target of finishing our first race.”

Hey everyone!

Today was a great day for the team. They completed almost 100 laps(Lucas 54). It's true Lotus improved more than us, but finally it's possible to see our improvements too. Good luck tomorrow!
Weather forecast

Lucas: “A really good day for us with no issues. The car is running smoothly and there is a lot more performance to come, but we are very happy with our best Friday so far. It means we are evolving both as a team and in terms of developing the car.”

Good evening!

The weekend starts tomorrow with the 1st practice. I will do live commentary, and try to port a link where you can watch it. Good luck to our Team! Keep pushing Lucas! #pracimadeles

Preview by Lucas: “Last weekend was disappointing for me because of the reliability problems we had. However, we have to move on and focus on better things to come. The guys are pushing really hard and we are improving all the time, sometimes in ways that may not be visible to anyone outside of the team because the problems are what other people see.
“Our obvious target here is to finish the race and we will be doing everything possible through the weekend to work towards achieving that. It will be an interesting challenge for the car and for me, as it’s a real test of what heat and humidity can do to both of us! On my side it’s the tougher races like this that make all the physical training worthwhile and it really brings home to us why we push ourselves so hard. For the car I think Bahrain was a good test of the cooling and we don’t expect any problems. I’m looking forward to my first Malaysian Grand Prix.”

Hi All!

At first, a lot of people asked from me connected to the Australian GP who overtook Schumacher? Timo or Lucas? Lucas or Timo?
What we have seen on TV it was Timo Glock! Commentators said that was Lucas, so it's not his fault. It's true Lucas was talking about an overtaking but he meant how he overtook Hamilton at turn 3 when he returned to the box. A bit complicated, but don't judge Lucas for the misconception. If you have any questions or want to tell your opinion, you can do it in the chat or in the forum...

And from now let's focus on Malaysia!

Hello!

Lucas arrived to Kuala Lumpur today. Yesterday he was playing poker with Barrichello, Massa, Kubica and Fisichella. He wrote he really enjoyed it.
Here is the video as I promised.
