That was a really disappointing race. Lucas had clutch bproblems before the start, so they changed it, but something was wrong with it and that's why he couldn't start the race with the others. Later he joined them, completed 8 laps and then had to come back to the box, because the problem returned. Shame. And one more problem...the vulcano, nobody was able to get back to Europe today, maybe in the upcoming days they can, but right now they have to wait. :/ The article...

Click here Lucas said: “This is obviously not a great way to end our weekend and that is very frustrating because we had two very good days of running on Friday and Saturday. I know we will work hard to identify the problems, fix them and get back to the kind of performance we experienced in Malaysia because we have what it takes to continue to be the best of the new teams.”
Lucas will start from the 22nd place tomorrow...and rain is possible. Today the Qualifying didn't go as well as it could be, on his last lap he had faster S1, S2 than Timo, but in the last he made a mistake so he lost the possible 19th place...but this is just a starting position, the race is important. Photos are available here Lucas said: “This was not a great qualifying session for me. The car behaved as expected and it was performing quite well. Reliability-wise we have also been very good. I was very quick on the first two sectors but made a mistake that cost me 3 or 4 tenths. As a result, I lost two or three positions on the grid. The important thing is to finish tomorrow’s race as the best of the new teams again, so we will perform as well as possible and see what opportunities are there to take advantage of.”
It looks the car is improving, it's getting more reliable. The 2 Virgins completed completed at about 100 laps, which is a quite good result. Don't forget tomorrow the things will continue with P3 and Qualifying! All the best for Lucas and the team :)
Lucas: “We had a very good day today, completing 55 laps - almost a race distance. That was our main objective today - to get through our programme and identify any potential issues. Everything is looking good so far and there is still a lot of performance we can bring to the car. I hope we can just get better and better tomorrow and in the race and ensure we finish the weekend as the best of the new teams once again.”
Luckily the most F1 people can use Twitter in China! Lucas too, so this is a good news. The connection is slow sometimes, but it works almost for everyone. Tomorrow I will bring the fresh photos from China! Stay tuned.
Lucas: “Malaysia was a great race weekend as we finished ahead of the other newcomers. Now we need more of that kind of result. I went back to England to use the Simulator so I could practice on the Shanghai circuit, as I have never been there before. For us right now, it’s all about hard work and we’re all doing a lot of that to try to keep moving us forward. I’m looking forward to China. From the work I’ve done in the Sim, I know it’s a really technical track that tests all your skills as a driver. The weather is much cooler than the previous race. It’s always a difficult race to prepare for but with the knowledge that getting things right through the weekend could lead to another strong race performance.”
As I told before on Twitter, it seems Lucas and everyone who goes to China won't be able to tweet from there, because Twitter, Facebook and Youtube are blocked there. Of course there are some ways to use these webs - but nobody sure about that they could find these solutions.
