Lucas is spending his free days far away from job, so in Sao Paulo with his family and friends. Today he is going to kart in Interlagos. Next week if you are Brazilian you can see him in a TV show called "Rockgol", I guess it will be a great fun, watch it if you can.

Today Lucas started from the pit, because the team had to change his engine. The race was tough, he had problems with the car, but finished the race on the 19th place! Great result! One more finished race! Lucas after the race: “We have had a lot of problems during this weekend, especially regarding the engine, but we achieved our target of getting both cars to the finish and ending the weekend as the best of the new teams. We demonstrated once again that our reliability is improving and what we need to do now is focus on improving the car so that we can be faster and consistently be the best new team at every race.” Pics from today
Unfortunately Lucas had problems with the engine all day...he was really disappointed after the quali, but maybe tomorrow with a good start, strategy he can achieve a good result. Go Lucas! :) Lucas said: “Despite the improvements that we made to the car set-up overnight, today has been very frustrating for me as we had an issue with the engine. Timo was able to demonstrate the true potential of the package and so it was disappointing for me to end up so far away because of the problem. Lucas was great today! Finishing ahead of Timo 2 times! Great! It's good that he is racing with the new car, after today's performance he looks really competetive. Hopefully the car is more reliable than before.
Lucas: “We’ve had a trouble-free and productive day in terms of completing our programme. Having said that, the set-up is far from perfect so we have a lot of work to do to find some solutions and improve the car for tomorrow. I uploaded some new pics from today. Lucas was really active today, he took photos and uploaded to Twitter(now they are available in the gallery too). Tomorrow practices. Hopefully Lucas' new Veronica will do well!
Lucas: “I’m really looking forward to racing in Turkey with the revised chassis and the new updates. It has been difficult over the past two races because your best benchmark is always your own team-mate in the same equipment and I haven’t been able to make that comparison. It has also been difficult for the team running two different cars. I’ve spent a lot of time in the Simulators since Monaco to prepare myself for running with the new car and for the challenge of the Istanbul Park Circuit. I’ve raced here twice before in GP2 and I won both times, so I really like the track. Although we left Monaco empty-handed, we know what we can achieve when things go well. A lot of work has been done back in Bicester and Dinnington over the past week, so I hope we all get to see some reward for those efforts.” Turkey - photos
